This is one of the largest such sashes I have ever encountered. This would have gone on a large wreath provided as a personal gesture, delivered on a funeral wreath to someone of great importance - not everyone got so-honored at their funeral - Knight's Cross winners and top-level political brass need only apply! The banner is about 12 feet long, and has "Adolf Hitler" printed in gold lettering. The highlight of the piece is an exquisitely embroidered Hitler eagle, used ONLY by Hitler and ONLY on these banners. There is slight fraying on the edges in small areas of the silk banner, and the embroidered eagle is perfect. I have seen less well-preserved eagles alone go for $2500.
