This cap started out as an Officer's Panzer visor by a rare to find maker--Berolina. Judging by the stampings in the liner, it was used by a theater group and has had the visor, at least, replaced. The cap is made of a fine quality wool with pink wool piping and dark green wool band. Hand embroidered bullion eagle, wreath, and cockade. The visor appears to have been taken from a Luftwaffe visor cap. The lining is cream colored artificial silk with celluloid sweat shield, under which is the Berolina logo and "Luxus". There is some damage to the lining fabric. There are markings and crossed out information on the fabric. The top of the cap shows staining and some loss of nap. Hard to find maker. This cap has been through a lot! Size is approximately 56CM (interior measurement).
