Extremely high quality M43 cap featuring textbook construction.  Exterior is constructed of fine quality wool.  Insignia shows matching age (which is only minor soiling).  The hat looks virtually brand-new with respect to having no damage or significant soiling.  Bullion is in outstanding condition (see the other example in this current auction, with very powdery bullion piping). Insignia is expertly hand-sewn with a very uniform cross-stitch.  Interior is a silk/rayon black, and is size marked 58.
