Description

Great example of the officer-quality cuff title worn by members of Infanterie-/Panzer-Grenadier-Division Großdeutschland, one of the German Army’s elite formations of the Second World War. This version features the correct silver bullion wire embroidery on a black wool base with silver russia-brade edging—textbook construction for privately purchased officer insignia. The Großdeutschland division served on the Eastern Front throughout the war. Its distinctive cuff title was a mark of prestige, reserved for a unit known for strict selection standards and heavy combat deployment. Condition is strong, with honest age and no postwar alterations.
