Extraordinarily rare set of tabs, belonging to a Sturmfuhrer of Foot Standarte 2, which was located in Frankfurt.  They are a pearl light grey color, and feature matching bullion twist cord piping.  2 is hand-embroidered using aluminum bullion thread.  Pips are matching and show some age and patina.  Buckram backing is identical, as is the wool and size, indicating these are a true matching set.  Wool shows some dirt and age.  Tab wool is sewn in the back, as is typical of early (and higher quality) tabs.  A set of tabs almost identical to these sold in the recent Delich auction for Euro 12000!  With buyer's premium, that's $15,000 or thereabouts.  While the "Delich" name does add value to a set of tabs, this set is I believe offered at a true value in comparison.  Here's the Delich auction:
