This early SS NCO Visor is a "Sonder-Anfertigung" which means special production.  This is reflected in the quality of construction as well as the yellow silk interior.  It's an upgrade from the standard "contract" hats with the red interior.  Exterior is MINT, and features the early TRIKOT outer sweatband (rarely seen, usually they are felt).  Insignia are original to the hat.  Please note : there is a tiny "50" scratched into the forehead of the skull.  I have NO idea what this means, but it could refer to Standarte 50, which would have been the wearer's unit.  This unit was located in Nordschleswig.  Interior shows some wear and age in the form of soiling to the silk interior.  Sweat shield is fully intact.  The major detraction is the sweatband.  Marked with a correct sweatband manufacturer for this hat producer, the band has several tears and is loose.  It CAN be carefully taped together using archival tape by me, prior to delivery.  The black RZM tag is present, showing the hat's manufacturer of 143 which is the code for Muller.  Overall, a hat that presents exquisitely, but is attractively priced due to the sweatband issue.
