Rarely does such an everyday item bear witness to moments in history that changed the world forever.  This small 5 inch piece of lead glass does exactly that.  It is one of the viewing windows through which the very first Atomic Detonation was observed during the Trinity test in what was later designated the White Sands Proving Ground.
