Near mint example of a WWII German Silver Grade Wound Badge in its original box. This silver plated zinc badge is very well preserved with virtually no wear or patina, maintaining its original look and finish. The reserve side is marked 65, demoting production by Klein & Quenzer AG. The SilverVerwundetenabzeichen (Wound Badge) was issued to Wehrmacht personnel who had sustained 3-4 individual combat wounds or a single more severe wound such as loss or an extremity, eye sight, or disfigurement. This is an excellent example of a desirable German badge.
