This WW1 Imperial German M16 Stahlhelm features a beautifully hand-applied camouflage paint scheme. The practice of camouflaging German helmets became increasingly common among frontline troops during the late war period, and surviving examples are highly sought after by collectors today. This example is in very good condition, retaining a complete leather liner. An attractive example of frontline Stahlhelm and an iconic piece of Great War history.
