German WWII Heer Officer's Dagger featuring a yellow-orange ribbed grip and silver-plated crossguard with a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a swastika. The blade is stamped with the maker's mark of the Richard Abr. Herder Stahlwarenfabrik company.  The nickel-silver scabbard is decorated with a pebbled finish and includes the original in tact hanger. The pommel cap is embossed with oak leaves. This dagger was issued as a dress sidearm for German Army officers during the Third Reich period.
