This is a German Army officer dagger used during the Third Reich period. The dagger is a standard model for army officers, featuring a swastika and eagle insignia on the crossguard. The blade bears the maker's mark of Eickhorn, a renowned German edged weapons manufacturer.
Condition is near-perfect. Blade is 99% with only a very faint stain near the tip, probably removable. Exterior fittings are heavily silvered, with hardly any wear (only a couple of light marks on the pommel). Screws unturned. Grip perfect. Portepee in outstanding condition.
