Well-preserved specimen with a Q64 manufacturing stamp on the inside skirt, and steel lot stamp on the six o-clock position. Paint is a very dark blue with almost a black-ish color to it due to having been treated with waxes and polish (often period) during the almost 90 decades. Some old rust on the helmet edge. Rivets are tight, and liner is original with no bending to band and nice tight rivets, suggesting not having been removed. Chin strap may be a very old reproduction, but looks great on the helmet.
