Description

This pair of maroon berets was used by the United States Army Airborne forces. The maroon beret is the standard headgear for airborne units. One beret bears the 101st Airborne Division patch, known as the "Screaming Eagles." The other beret features the 11th Airborne Division insignia, recognized for its role in the Pacific Theater during World War II. Both berets display the 'Airborne' tab above the division patches. These berets were worn as distinctive unit identifiers during airborne operations and paratrooper service.  Probably from Vietnam era or beyond.
