This is a World War II German Afrika Korps cuff title. It features the embroidered word "AFRIKA" flanked by palm tree motifs, stitched in white thread on a field-gray or brownish wool band with white piping along the edges. Worn by members of the Wehrmacht who took part in the North Africa campaign from 1941 to 1943, commanded by General Erwin Rommel. Fine quality full length specimen, textbook construction.
