Reprduction of a German Panzer officer visor crusher cap; these have fooled many collectors in the past. The liner is 'maker marked' with an accurate copy of the well known hat maker August Müller, München.  Correct profile retaining its distinctive soft, unreinforced profile. This type The field-gray wool body and dark-green band remain strong in color, highlighted by bright, intact pink Panzer piping. Aluminum eagle and hand embroidered bullion wreath/metal cockade insignia appear to be original. The visor displays typical crusher-style wear without damage. Overall, an excellent reproduction visor cap that is perfect for display.
