Hand embroidered metal bullion General's tab has not been folded, pressed, or trimmed. Fine quality red wool body. On the reverse side is printed "June '45/Collar patch of Field Marshall Gerd von Rundstedt/Nazi Commander in Chief in the West".Unknown when or by whom it was written. The embroidery is well done. Compared with other General's collar tab examples, the center cord opening of this one is wider than most and some of the flame shapes are slightly different where they meet the cording.
