Description

Well-crafted and nicely preserved specimen of an SS NCO Visor.  This wartime example exhibits a high peak and stiff construction.  This piece appears to be unissued (no signs of wear to the interior or exterior).  Several small moth nips to the grey wool fabric body - see photos.  Interior is lined in a black rayon, exhibits a genuine celluloid sweat-shield, beneath which is the size (a sticker with 56), and the manufacturer "Helvetia."  No damage to the thin sweatband, which is stiff.  Insignia are matching and are in amazing condition.
