Summer 2025 Auction Closed (#1311773)

Produced in a white linen/cotton. It is a Großadmiral’s rank and command flag with a multi-colored, printed image. Measuring 50cm x 50cm (19 ½” x 19 ½”). Separately applied manufacture tag with details in embroidered blue thread. Only two individuals were promoted to the rank of Großadmiral during the Third Reich.  Erich Raeder was promoted to this rank on April 1, 1939, which he held until his resignation on January 30, 1943.  He was replaced by Karl Dönitz. Excellent display size!  Moth holes in areas, per the photos.
