Description
Stunnng SS NCO Visor. Exterior shows light wear, with a few moth nips to the top (see photos). Insignia are matching, showing minor wear. Chin strap is correct SS Chin Strap with light tan backing. Careful evaluation reveals a correct RZM stamping on reverse (not pictured due to not wanting to remove the button, but guaranteed present). Interior is black rayon or silk. Sweat band and shield are 100% intact. Beneath the sweat shield is a size marking of 56 (a decal) as well as a decal featuring a heraldic crest with "Helvetia" and Ges. Gesch. No extra holes, probably an early piece from the formative years of the Waffen SS before the invasion of Poland, and probably predating the Anschluss as well.
