Description

A very early NSDAP political visor, probably dating from the late 1920s to early 1930s, before uniforms were standardized.  This cap is quite small.  Leather bill is supple with only age crazing.  Material shows minor wear, but hat is fully intact.  Bullion chin cord has toned to a deep gold.  Marked with a swastika on the interior.  There appears to have been an early NSDAP Political eagle present, as indicated by two small holes in the front.  This is not an expensive item to locate.
