Description
1937 dated Luftwaffe tunic for a flight Unteroffizier. Machine sewn NCO Tresse, tabs with 1 gull, and sewn-in shoulderstraps. Hand embroidered cotton breast eagle. Attached is the highest grade Army sharpshooter lanyard (3 gold acorns) that has the Luftwaffe metal lanyard badge mounted for some reason. The tunic is property stamped to the Luftwaffe base at Schönwalde. Unfortunately, the early quality wool has made a feast for some sort of insects so there are numerous bites to the tunic as can be seen in the photos.
