Description
Standard brownshirt for Political Leader, 1939 pattern. Gilt eagle/swastika buttons. The most obvious change from the older shirts was that the metal belt hooks were replaced with cloth belt loops. In addition, this pattern was sold with a collar liner. This example retains the buttons for the liner but the liner is not present. This specific shirt appears never to have had collar insignia as there is no evidence of collar tabs or piping being sewn on. There is a sewn 1914 Iron Cross II. Class ribbon above the pocket. Please note: the armband is a reproduction. Excellent condition.
