Description

Later war model Luftwaffe officer's cap by the maker JC Kornacker with the marking "Extra Klasse". LW blue grey brushed wool top with slightly subdued braided aluminum piping. There is a LW officer bullion breast eagle in place of the cap eagle, which was not uncommon to see. The interior has the large eagle with "Extra Klasse" and "Marke Standard". Typical Kornacker pleated side lining and half zig-zag stitched sweatband. A name slip is present for OZM Fuchs (Oberzeugmeister?). The cap shows normal use, especially the sweatband, which has a few broken attachment stitches. Overall, the cap has held up very well!
