Description

Black patent leather body with proper officer's chinscales and cockades. Silk and calfskin lining with lined front and rear visors. The liner is named to "Leutnant Schweitzer". Correct spike with pearlring and star screws, one of which is missing. The helmet body shows craquelure to the black finish. Nice example of an unplayed-with Imperial spiked helmet.
