This early reproduction of a Hitler Youth knife was imported by Unique Imports, later Collector's Armory, in Alexandria, VA in the 1970s - 1990s.  When I was a kid, I used to POUR over these catalogues, and knew every page by heart.  Anyway, this is a very high quality dagger.  Given the unique font used on the But und Ehre motto, many unscrupulous persons remove the knife from the scabbard, add an original scabbard, and try to sell them as prototypes.  Rare to find one in its original configuration.  As the hobby continues to mature, references of reproductions will be an important area of knowledge.
