2024 Spring Auction Closed (#1052932)

From the outside, this ring is an amazing reproduction, being a precision casting from an original ring.  Originally sold AS original, I evaluated this ring for the buyer, and was sad to deliver the news that it was a fake.  In fact, when I first saw the pictures via email, I thought it was real!  However, close inspection using a jeweler's loop reveals microscopic casting flaws.  The engraving on the interior is also cast, which was the giveaway.  Anyway, size 11.5, this ring is an outstanding reference piece, or addition to a complete SS Ring collection (I have several fake rings in my archive).  Made of genuine 900 silver, and structurally identical to a real ring.  Please note: ring sizer not included.
