Description
It's rare to find a genuine specimen of this pattern on today's market. This is a 100% original "Oak B" pattern SS Camouflage Smock, designed to be worn in combat over the standard combat uniform. Designed to be reversible (green for summer, then turning it inside out to the brown side) for fall. This is an early pattern featuring slant pockets, a non-elastic collar. Original tie is present. There are a few period repairs to the piece - see photos. This piece has bright colors, and features the "3" on the right sleeve which often appears and which is a bale-number for the fabric, before it was cut into the smock.
