Description
This bayonet is stamped with Carl Eickhorn, Solingen, Squirrel holding sword trademark. Hilt fittings are nickel plated and show only minor wear/age patina with red felt plug in pommel slot. Black bakelite grip has no cracks or chips. The plated blade has has no pitting or nicks to cutting edges and is complete with leather buffer pad. Dent-free steel scabbard retains 100% of the original black enamel with a few tiny wear scratches. Black frog shows normal age/wear with some minor cracking in the upper part of leather however stitching remains intact.
