Description
Carl Eickhorn was one of the largest edged weapon manufacturers based in Solingen. He quickly built a reputation for producing very high-quality products and stamped or etched the firms squirrel trademark onto the blades.
The dagger has a dark yellow celluloid grip which shows no damage or chips. The silver-plated hilt fittings show normal wear with some flaking on the top of the crossguard but with a well detailed eagle. The silver-plated scabbard also shows normal wear with detailed pebbled panels and oak leaf suspension bands, no dents. The hangers are in excellent shape with no fraying, tears or missing stitches on obverse side and very small area of minor fraying near the stitching on reverse side.
